The first call

We start with how and where you run. What water, how often, how many people aboard, what you are trying to do that your current boat will not. Nothing is being sold at this stage — the point is to work out which hull is right, and whether we are the right shop for you at all.

Bring: the rivers you run, your typical water level, and anything that has failed on you before.

Spec and written quote

We put together the boat we would build for you — hull, powerplant, layout, rigging, finish — and send it as a written quote with a firm number. No verbal figures that move later. You are free to change anything on it before you commit to a thing.

Deposit and build slot

A deposit holds your place in the build schedule and we give you a target delivery window. We build to order, one boat at a time, so slots are finite and honest — you get a real date rather than a hopeful one.

Cut and weld

Plate is cut and the hull goes together — bottom, sides, armor plating, transom. This is the longest stretch of the build and the part that decides how the boat holds up years from now.

We send photos as it goes.

Rigging and finish

Power, controls, electronics, decking, seating, paint or coating. The boat stops looking like a hull and starts looking like yours.

Water test

Every boat gets test run before it’s delivered to ensure it performs as expected.

Delivery day

We walk the whole boat with you — systems, maintenance, what to watch. Then you hook up and go.
